Provider Types

This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:

  • Pre-Licensed Professionals

My approach to therapy is compassionate, non-pathologizing, and strengths based. I see therapy as a place for you to build and reclaim your power, identifying & nourishing your strengths, needs, vision and contributions, and tending with care to your pain or challenges. I use many approaches: narrative, solution-focused, emotion focused therapy, transpersonal approaches, and the arts. I’m rooted in anti-racism and anti-oppression, with a trauma-informed lens, centering your lived experience, choices, and lifestyle as basis for our work. I bring a neuroscience lens, with ways we can restore the nervous system from grief or trauma.
I’m a bilingual/bicultural counselor (Latinx), and have specific experience working with immigration trauma and navigating the complexity of the immigration experience. I specialize in Expressive Arts (which combines various arts & somatic work, if appropriate to you) which can boost our ability to move through life transitions, anxiety, stress, trauma, or grief.
I've worked with clients across the lifespan (6yo-adult), and am currently Adjunct Professor of Child Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies. I enjoy working with adolescents; adults working through existential shifts; and artists, activists, and caretakers. Reach out for a free consultation!
